Our Standard
We choose materials for what they are, not what they imitate. Solid wood is allowed to show its grain, variation, and character. We never hide it beneath veneers or engineered substitutes made to pass for something else.
Good design has to work beyond the photograph. We test the details that carry the daily load, including magnet strength, trivet balance, peg spacing, and the security of a Z-clip. Then we refine them until use feels natural.
Function is only part of what makes an object worth living with. We work through proportion, line, grain, and finish until a piece feels at home in the room: distinctive enough to notice, restrained enough to live with, and beautiful enough to keep in view.
